Towards expanding networking with the industry, a Business Networking Night was held on 15th September 2018 at Grand Darul Makmur Hotel, Kuantan. With the theme, MBA & Business Real World – Growing into Business Stability, the program was attended by YDH Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato’ Sri Wan Hj Abdul Wahid Bin Hj Wan Hassan, Timbalan Yang Dipertua, Majlis Ugama Islam Pahang (MUIP), Master of Business Administration (MBA) students, representatives from corporate sectors and industries, UCYP Management team and UCYP Student Representative Council. The business Networking Night was organized by Business Link & Commercialization Department.
The objectives of the event are to extend UCYP networking partners, to give optimum exposure on authentic business world, and to provide a hands-on experience for MBA UCYP-IUMW students.
“We are moving towards success. We are growing into business stability, hence, that is the theme for today. Tonight’s dinner is meant for us to share knowledge and experiences with our MBA students, apart from creating opportunities for them to socialize with our friends from the industries. In addition to that, this gathering connects us to our industries acquaintances that consequently leads to mutual relationship,” said YH Dato’ Norhishamuddin Bin Yaacob, UCYP Managing Director. In addition to that, he also welcomed and introduced UCYP new Vice Chancellor, YH Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Ahmad Bin Hj Zainuddin.
“Now, we are a University College. But we are not going to stop there. We are striving for a full-fledged university. We will keep on producing excellent graduates, not only in academic, but also in other essential skills such as soft skills,” said UCYP Vice Chancellor, YH Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Ahmad Bin Hj Zainuddin.
Apart from that, the guests were also enlightened with experiences and knowledge sharing by two credible speakers, YH Dato’ Sri Md. Sharif Bin Shamsuddin, Managing Director of Asturi Metal Builders (M) Sdn Bhd and YH Dato’ Azman Bin Abdul Razak, Founder Cum Group Managing Director of Nasi Kukus My Mama. Both of the speakers shared their experiences in building and expanding their companies.
