A wonderful moment with Her Majesty,Chancellor.

The peaceful scene at the Mana-Mana café, Kuantan, became a meaningful and grand experience for UCYP and KYP Advanced Skills as Her Majesty, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj graced the venue for a hi-tea session.

The presence of the Lord Chancellor and the princess, YAM Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafizatullah was received by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Zainuddin and the board of directors from UCYP and KYP advanced skills.

During the meeting, the UCYP Vice-Chancellor also presented a short briefing on the Royal Dinner in conjunction with the launch of the UCYP Chancellor’s Education Fund which will take place at the Palace of The Golden Horses, Seri Kembangan on October 6, 2019.

The education fund was the brainchild of Her Majesty during the UCYP Convocation Ceremony last march.

During the ceremony, The Queen decreed that there should exist a fund to assist students that are less fortunate and able to pay for their education.

The enthusiasm of Her Majesty to move forward with this idea shows that her concern with the education and welfare of the Pahang people, primarily the students in UCYP.

Furthermore, The Queen also urges the government, private and individual sectors to contribute to the education fund as well.

Her Majesty, The Queen on this brief occasion also represented KYP Advanced Skills in receiving the certificate of worldwide recognition from the World Association of Chef Societies as an internationally recognized college.

The presentation of the certification was made to Her Majesty by the representative of Chef Asia, Chef Yau Kok Kheong.

With regards to Her Majesty’s passion for the culinary arts which often gets the netizen’s attention on Instagram, The Queen shared her ideas about setting up a culinary institution and calling it De’ Royal Azizah Culinary School and also invited KYP Advanced Skills to be part of the development of the culinary school.

When discussing about the culinary school, The Queen in jest said that she will be participating in cooking and that her world-renowned dishes will also be available to the people, primarily in the Pahang state.

The people will definitely be waiting with bated breath to taste the wonderful offerings that Her Majesty will be dishing out.

Towards the end of the event, in a moment of spontaneity and light-heartedness, Her Majesty, The Queen was pleasantly surprised by the top management of UCYP and KYP Advanced Skills with a presentation of a cake to celebrate her birthday.

It is moments like these that shows the close relationship that the management of UCYP and KYP Advanced Skills have with Her Majesty, The Queen.

Before heading back to the National Palace, Her Majesty took the opportunity to invite the top management of UCYP and KYP Advanced Skill on a walk about the Kuantan River as a way to commemorate this wonderful moment.
