UCYP has received a return visit from UMW (M&E) Sdn. Bhd., which was led by UMW (M&E) President, Dato’ Rashid Musa and accompanied by five other delegates on 22nd October 2019.
This visit was in response to UCYP’s first visit to the company on 22nd August 2019. The UMW delegation was welcomed by UCYP Vice Chancellor, Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Haji Zainuddin and UCYP management in a lively and ‘refreshing’ meeting held at level 2, Yayasan Pahang Complex, Tanjung Lumpur.
During the visit, various topics were highlighted, including strengthening bilateral relations via infaq program, research and products, trainings, students’ placement, coaching (mentor-mentee), and human resource enhancement between UMW and UCYP (and KYP Advanced Skills).
The UMW delegation was also taken for a campus visit to several UCYP campuses including the Tanjung Lumpur Main Campus and library, City Campus and KYP Advanced Skills, Kubang Buaya.
The attractive structure of the main campus building, the university library and the beautiful surrounding with a very fine weather captured the delegates’ hearts. Apparently, their gestures confirmed the claim that UCYP is the best place to ‘embrace the journey for an excellent future’.
In addition to that, a stop at the Coffeeville, a hipster café owned by KYP Advanced Skills brought to a memorable time together. Lunch was served with tasty pastry and cakes; and Kurma Latte was an exceptional course on that day.
At the end of the visit, UCYP was also pleased to see Dato’ Rashid Musa engaging UCYP students in a sharing session on Auto to Aero: Industry 4.0 hosted by the UCYP, Faculty of Science & Technology.
