A Cellebration For Excellence, Loyalty And Hardwork

A celebration for UCYP staff was conducted in a Silaturrahim 2020 event together with an Excellence Intellectual Capital Award (Anugerah Kecemerlangan Modal Intelek Universiti) ceremony. It was held at the UCYP main campus auditorium at Tanjung Lumpur, on Thursday 9th January 2020

The event was attended by UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Haji Zainuddin, Deputy Vice Chancellors, Chief Executive of KYP, Head of Departments, deans as well as 300 UCYP and KYP staff.

According to the UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Haji Zainuddin, the event was regarded as a celebration to strengthen bonds among the UCYP and KYP community as well as to commemorate and also award the employees who have contributed their hard work to the organization for a number of years and to those who have outstanding achievements throughout their careers It also served as an unforgettable memory for them and also as a reminder of what an achievement that they have accomplished from their working years.

During the eventful ceremony, the UCYP Vice Chancellor in his speech, emphasized about the organization’s future and expectations as well as looking back on 2019 achievements.The attendees were then celebrated with an amazing performance to enlighten the mood.

Then, it was time for the award giving ceremony in which the award was presented to the staff by the Vice Chancellor himself. The awards were distributed in categories such as University Excellence Intellectual Capital, Education and Innovation, Teaching and Learning, Industry Relations, Social and Community Responsibilities and an appreciation of excellence for staff  who have served for UCYP and KYP for over 10 years (104 staff) and 20 years (32 staff).

The award recipients for the Academic Excellence Intellectual Capital were, Ts. Mohd Hamisa Bin Abdul Hamid, Norhusna Binti Saharun, Norsanariah Binti Zainol Abidin, Norazman Bin Lot, and Hamdan Bin Abd Latif while for the Non Academic Excellence Intellectual Capital, the recipients were, Suzana Binti Awang, Suzila Binti Kamaruddin, Muhammad Khalid Bin Rohiam, Wan Noor Hasimah Binti Wan Ismail, Mohamad Akhir Bin Mahmud, Mohd Iman Bin Rahamat, Abd Rahim Bin Mohd Rashid, Mohd Roslan Bin Abdullah Zaib and Mohd Hanafi Bin Muhamad. They received certificates and glass plaques as award for their dedication and hard work.

The atmosphere during the ceremony was certainly joyous and all the recipients were very grateful and happy to receive the awards. The ceremony ended with a photography session.
